ABOUT

Alchemy Arts Academy (A3) seeks to become the premier educational program in Las Vegas for young artists who are committed to developing their theatrical skills. A3 works to connect artists with industry professionals from Las Vegas and beyond, encourages its artists to explore challenging content, and pursues excellence in all forms of creativity. A3 is committed to diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, actively seeking to reduce and or eliminate any barrier that would keep an artist from realizing their full creative potential. In seeking to honor that commitment, A3 works to ensure that tuition does not present such a barrier to interested artists. As it continues to grow, A3 plans to foster relationships with the school district in order to facilitate educational opportunities for anyone who is interested. Art is for everyone and everyone is an artist.

Bang Bang You're Dead is a one-act play by William Mastrosimone that addresses the serious issues of school violence, bullying, and the emotional turmoil experienced by teenagers. The play centers on a high school student, Josh, who has committed a school shooting and is haunted by the memories of his victims. As the play unfolds, Josh is confronted by his actions and the irreversible consequences of his violence. The play was originally written to raise awareness about the dangers of unresolved anger and the importance of empathy and communication among young people. Unfortunately, this play remains relevant to current events, as school shootings and youth violence continue to be pressing issues worldwide. With increasing concerns about mental health, the influence of social media, and the prevalence of bullying, Bang Bang You're Dead serves as a poignant reminder of the need for proactive measures in addressing these problems.
